In their most mundane form, the lotus cards can be used to play any existing card game.

If you are unsure where to start this is the best place to begin. 

Play Lotus with 2 or 4 people, using the rules of Spades— this was its earliest intention during the creation process— and pay close attention to whose hand holds which cards, which appear for each round, etc.

Playing card games will quickly help you to memorize the sacred symbols and cosmic principles on each card without putting too much pressure on figuring out what they are trying to tell you. 

In their highest form, when used as an oracle they connect to your own inner space and cosmic time. Answering questions or prompting you to answer them yourself.

A sacred tool. a reflection.

If you recognize what appears, that cosmic principle or element and the energy it holds is being called into the space, or making it’s presence known for you to consider.
